"The work is part of the Joslyn Gemstone Studio Edition which was offered to the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska in, I believe, 2000. The Gemstone edition was intended to be sold as a fundraiser for the museum and was introduced at a gala event launching a Chihuly exhibit."
