ABOUT ON-LINE BIDDING

To Participate in On-Line Bidding:

1. Click on
   A new tab or window will open in your browser.
2. In the new window, click on View Current Catalogs (just above our logo)
3. Up until two hours before the auction begins, you can place on-line absentee bids by clicking on Bid Now with Artfact Live in your new window
4. Once the auction begins, you can watch and/or participate in the auction by clicking on View this Live Auction in your new window
5. For more information, click on the "Learn How To Bid" graphic at the top of the right-hand column in your new window

More about online bidding:

By following the instructions above, you can register to bid on-line and browse the on-line bidding version of the auction catalog. On auction night, you can watch the auction and bid using your computer, safely and conveniently in “real time”, from anywhere in the world. This “On-Line Bidding” will be made available for all of our regular Three-Session Auctions as well as for selected “Special Session Auctions” that are held periodically (it will not be made available for our un-cataloged “Day Auctions”).

Generally, our auction items will be made available for on-line bidding about ten days prior to the auction. If you have questions or difficulties, Artfact provides on-line help.

Please note that on-line bidding is subject to a convenience fee equal to three percent of the final bid price for auction purchases made on-line…resulting in a 18% Buyer's Premium instead of our usual 15% Buyer's Premium.

A reminder: In addition to on-line bidding, we will continue to offer Absentee and Telephone Bidding if you are unable to attend our auctions in person. While absentee bids & telephone bids are accepted up until the time the auction begins, we encourage you to submit them as early as possible so that we have ample time for processing. These bids can be submitted by calling us at 503.238.0202 or toll-free at 1.888.238.0202. For your convenience, our Absentee/Telephone Bid Form is available here as a PDF file. Your completed bid form can also be faxed to us at 503.236.8211. Good luck with your bids!
