RICHARD D. MacDONALD THREE BRONZE SCULPTURES (California, born 1946) The triptych titled "Three Graces" and individually titled "Agalia" (Brilliance), "Euphrosyne" (Joy), and "Thalia" (Bloom). Each incised "R. MacDonald" and set on a marble plinth. "Agalia" is dated 2000, numbered 17/90, the bronze measures 36.5"H x 14.5"L x 8"W and 44.5"H including the plinth. "Euphrosyne" is dated 1999, numbered 27/90, the bronze measures 28"H x 15"L x 8"W and 39"H including the plinth. "Thalia" is dated 2000, numbered 29/90, the bronze measures 35"H x 13"L x 9"W and 39"H including the plinth. Lot includes certificates of authenticity from the artist. Provenance: purchased in 2001 from the Richard MacDonald Galleries, Santa Fe, New Mexico. A forty foot version of the "Three Graces" sculpture was featured at The World Expo 2010 sculpture park in Shanghai, China.
