THREE METTLACH POTTERY STEINS: #485, 1 liter, with relief musicians and dancers plus allover grapevine design on matte blue ground, inlaid lid, date mark 1897; a 1/2 liter, with relief featuring a German plaque plus birds and grapevine, 1900; and #1526, 1/2 liter, enameled in German Christmas Peace 1915; date mark 1913. Two having incised Mettlach abbey trademark and #1526 having the abbey ink stamp. Heights not including thumb lifts from 4.75 to 8.25 inches.

  • Condition: 034:Mettlach steins are in good condition, some surface cracking to relief decoration; no other visible chips, cracks or repairs.
