What is a Timed Auction?
Instead of an auctioneer calling the auction to a live audience, this auction will be online only.
All bidding will take place at our website or via the O'Gallerie app.
On Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10am Pacific Time, the first lot, #1001, will close. The bidding on the second lot, #1002, will close 30 seconds after the first and so on until the auction is over.
If someone bids within one minute of the closing time on a lot, the closing time is extended for that lot to allow other bidders to respond and raise their bids if they choose. This keeps someone from sneaking in at the last second to out bid you without giving you a chance to respond.
In addition to the option of bidding online live in real time, online absentee bids can also be placed prior to the auction.
*There will be no in-person bidding, in-house absentee bids, or telephone bids for the Timed Auction.
