After Francisco de Goya (Spain, 1746-1828) etching, aquatint, and drypoint on laid paper, "Disparate Femenino" plate 1 from "Los Proverbios." These etchings were not printed during Goya's lifetime, this edition was printed in the workshop of Laureniano Potenciano, Madrid and published by Real Academia de Nobles Artes de San Fernando, Madrid, circa mid to late 19th century. 9.75" x 13.5" (plate), 16.5" x 20.5" (image).

  • Condition: Heavy toning throughout, water damage to upper left margin. Not examined outside of frame.
