ENGLISH STERLING SILVER TEA KETTLE ON WARMING STAND, with repousse scroll, floral and foliage motif, bird head mask spout, and raised on acanthus feet, the kettle and stand hallmarked sterling, Sheffield, 1855, by Martin, Hall & Co.; the burner having flower handle, hallmarked sterling, London. Height 16.75 inches. Total weight 72.6 troy oz.

  • Condition: 733: The kettle is in good overall condition with a few dings and small dents and discolorations. The finial may be a replacement and the lid is dented. The handle is missing one pin and is slightly bent where it connects to the kettle. The side of the kettle has a few small dings and it looks like a monogram may have been removed. The stand appears to be in good condition.
