LEROY SETZOIL HAND CARVED STATUE OF THE MADONNA (Czech/American, 20th century) from Goncala alvis exotic hardwood. 48 in. tall, 10 in. wide, raised on wooden base. Active in Portland and Eugene, Or. The Salem, Oregon Public Library has carving done in 1972; 66 pieces this artist's work exhibited at the University of Oregon Art Museum in 1991. See O'Gallerie Archives Lot 55, 2002. Appraised for the Robert Beeman Smith estate with a current fair market value of $1500.
