LOUIS XV STYLE ORMOLU-MOUNTED ROSEWOOD DRESSING TABLE, Louis Philippe era, mid-19th century, the lift top opening to an interior mirror over open drawer, the lock plate signed "Mons Vervelle Audot, Paris, 1 rue Montmorency Feydeau," Closed dimensions: 29"H x 22.25"W x 16"D. WITH KEY. Note: Audot, a French furniture maker and dealer, held in 1825 a store on Neuve-Montmorency street in Paris, and then the Vervelle House in 1856. He created mostly small pieces of furniture, boxes, caskets, liqueurs cellars and necessaires.
