MEISSEN PORCELAIN NESTING PIGEON, after the model by Johann Joachim Kandler (German, 1706-1775), of 1732, hard-paste porcelain pigeon resting on nest-form bowl with underglaze crossed swords mark. 6"H x 12"L.

  • Condition: 324: The Meissen nesting pigeon box is in good condition with light wear, the pigeon lid has a small chip/loss to the base near rim, the nest base has a crack on the rim that appears to be from manufacturing.
