NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED BUCKSKIN JACKET, the Indigenous peoples of the Northwest Plateau, inland Columbia River basin region, c. 1930s, a western style long-sleeve jacket with blue cloth lining, the exterior decorated with colorful beadwork, the front featuring two standing figures of Indian Chiefs in headdress, the reserve with bucking horse and rider. Province: Vayne Montgomery Gurdane, 1930s to 1968; daughter Helen Gurdane Rosborough (1917-2010), 1968-2010; grandson and son Craig Rosborough, 2010 - present.

  • Condition: 144: The jacket shows moderate to heavy wear from use with soiling, discolorations, imperfections to the leather and it is missing a 1/2" strand of beads. The interior lining has tears.
